There are numerous devices, methods and theories out there but which is the best that suits the needs of your particular building is the ultimate question. BERcerts.ie only have SEAI approved Building Energy Rating (BER) auditors and SEAI approved energy auditor. All auditors must be approved by the SEAI as the SEAI is the governing body which ultimately issues the Building Energy Rating (BER) certificates.
SURVEY and REPORT
Various audits are carried out on the building, including assessing insulation, windows, lighting, wall U-values,heating system, etc.
When this is completed, we can then recommend the next steps to take to improve your rating and reduce costs.
A full and comprehensive report is so drawn up.
The report will also include a list of products and contact details that will help you improve your rating, if you wish to do so.
CERTIFICATE and ADVICE
When the dwelling has been examined, which normally takes 3 to 4 hours, we process the accumulated information and obtain your property's rating. At this time, a full report and certificate is issued to you.
